155 N Sangamon is a mixed-use retail and office building within the historic Fulton Market District. The office entrance lobby design focuses on celebrating the historic renovation of the building by showcasing the existing brick and timber structure within the design in an elevated way. The existing black and white paint line needed to remain since it is a historic aspect of the building. This strong paint datum coupled with metal, stone, and wood accents creates a modern industrial design and a dynamic layer of textures.
